"The Cottage"

The Cottage is a charming stone building attached to the main family residence, but fully self-contained with a separate front door for private accessibility for our guests.

There is a private courtyard and secure parking area to the front of the property; a front door leading to the entrance foyer; a large sitting / dining area; a fully fitted kitchen and two twin bedded ensuite bedrooms.

Living Area

The comfortable sitting room is reminiscent of a typical Irish cottage and features an inglenook fireplace. It combines warmth and practicality with tasteful soft furnishings and dining furniture. A television, DVD player, stereo radio and CD player, selection of books and games and a remote control operated “wood burning stove effect” fire are all available for the use of guests. Extensive literature relating to tourism in the area is also provided to help you plan your stay.

Although the accommodation is self-catering, guests can expect to find fresh flowers, refreshments and a welcome pack on arrival.

Kitchen

The large cottage kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. A Welcome Pack will include the essentials required to ensure a smooth start to your visit.

Bedroom Accommodation

This consists of two twin bedded ensuite rooms, both with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. All bed linen and towels are provided. Both ensuites are modern and equipped with showers. In addition, one of the ensuites has a bath.

• ● An additional fold up bed, cot and baby high chair can be provided.
• ● Guests have use of a private garden area and BBQ facilities in summer months.
• ● Guests’ payphone located in foyer.
• ● For our Guests staying over seasonal periods e.g. the Christmas period, the Cottage will be decorated to ensure those visiting during the festive season will experience the delight of Christmas in a “home away from home”.

Bed and Breakfast Facilites and Room only Facilities

Three additional rooms are available at first floor level. Two are ensuite, with double beds and the other is twin bedded, providing ideal extended family accommodation for children as it is located immediately next door to one of the double rooms.

These rooms are accessed through a private front door and staircase and whilst they share the same foyer area as the cottage and can be used to extend the Cottage accommodation, they also offer distinctly separate facilities.

This provides larger parties renting the cottage, the flexibility to rent additional rooms to accommodate larger groups and provide more space. The rooms can also be rented out separately.

One double room has an ensuite with luxurious bathroom with bath and walk in shower. The other double room has an ensuite bathroom with shower and lovely views over Belfast Lough.

A third room is available with twin beds, but has no bathroom or shower. Guests are therefore required to share bathroom facilities with other people in their party. There is a discounted rate available when booking this room.
All rooms are fully furnished, with televisions and tea and coffee making facilities and they contain fridges.

Quality bed linen and towels are provided. Cot(s) / camp-bed can be provided on request. A Welcome Pack is provided in each room and the rooms are serviced at regular intervals.
